Karen and Abby are delighted to be at the ‘helping families early’ conference today promoting PDSE’s early years resources and training.

A fantastic session was had by EBL7 who joined members of the Age Positive group to host a dental themed workshop. EBL8 delivered Dental Champion Training to members of the Children in Care Nursing Team & Foster carers. Both were an great opportunity to talk about #OralHealth

EBL5 attended the St Budeaux & Barne Barton Wellbeing Hub for their Health & Wellbeing Fair, with lots of opportunity for discussion and demonstrations. EBL6 welcomed a group of young carers from Barnardos to a workshop learning about the role of a dentist & top tips for teeth.

We've just taken delivery of our new Open Wide Step Inside Board Game and can’t wait to use it!

This was an initial idea from a student project during their 2nd year Inter-Professional Engagement Module and was exciting to see the game come to life.

Here’s EBL4 who worked with the Central Library to host a drop-in session with library users for their community project and DTHD who had a lovely games session with beneficiaries from Elder Tree Befriending trialling their newly designed dental health game.

We're excited to announce the launch of @Smarter_Smiles! Working in partnership with Smile Together and @cornwallcouncil we'll be delivering oral health initiatives in schools & community organisations.

This week meet EBL3 who worked with the Plymouth Community Builders, hosting an oral health themed training session with the team. DTHC worked with the Coop connecting with their local community meeting in the Rees centre talking to all ages about happy, healthy smiles.

Congratulations to our wonderful dental nurses, Nikki, Kate, Sophie & Marsha who have all passed their Oral Health Education certificate last week👏

They have worked really hard to gain this qualification and they are looking forward to using their newfound skills.
