I am horrified to hear about the events at Bondi Junction this afternoon.

I am making immediate arrangements to return to Sydney.

I want to thank NSW Police, emergency services and first responders and the community for their bravery in the face of this shocking incident.

We have already lifted the Waste Levy for a dozen Local Government Areas and are offering assistance to Regional Emergency Management Committees in other flood-hit areas.

LGBTQ+ people are fine just the way they are. There is no place in NSW for harmful conversion and suppression practices. This Bill to ban these practices deserves bi-partisan support.

Our community has lost two young men who were building a wonderful life together.

Family and friends of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies are now living with an unimaginable loss.

We grieve with you.

I recommit to doing what I can to make our communities safe for everyone.

We just locked in two new renewable energy generation projects and another three storage projects.
NSW is now almost halfway to our 2030 renewable generation target, and over a quarter of the way there on our long-duration storage target.

Today I announced that NSW will authorise aerial shooting as a method to reduce the wild horse population in Kosciuszko National Park.
 
Existing control methods will remain.
 
This was not an easy decision but an essential one to protect our only alpine park.
