‘Peoples’ primary lens for thinking about politics, when they do, is how will this protect me, my family and my community.’ Based lots of household interviews in County Durham for our Beyond "Left Behind Places" study, I agree with this.

This talk rests on a massive team effort that is our Economic and Social Research Council Beyond "Left Behind Places" project—bringing together a group from the UK, France & Germany.
