My plan to make London safer:

1. Bring back borough-based policing
2. Recruit 1,500 more police officers
3. Open at least 2 new police bases in every single borough
4. Appoint a women’s commissioner
5. Put more CCTV on the Underground

Mayor Khan has had 8 years. Enough. Vote Conservative on 2nd May to make your voice heard - for once he will have to listen to the result.

This morning in Eltham, we were joined by Adam Thomas - meaning we had three election’s worth of Greenwich and Lewisham candidates on the campaign trail!

So sad to hear of John's passing. As has been commented elsewhere, John was admired for his work in his ward & dedication to supporting the armed forces as a Councillor. He got me involved in local politics & I will never forget him. My thoughts are with Pat and John's family.

Incredibly sad news about John's passing. Thoughts with his friends and family at this difficult time.

He was so kind hearted and such fun to be around. Clearly well regarded by those he represented on Greenwich Council for more than 20 years.

He will be greatly missed.
