Year 2 had a super afternoon East Riding Libraries in Pocklington yesterday - we love taking our children to places that inspire them to develop a lifelong love of reading 💙📚💛

Year 3 met Pocklington School teacher and local councillor Gareth Shephard for a very balanced introduction to local politics as part of their PSHE curriculum!

Our Mind Body & Soil club welcomed Spring by making bug hotels and propogating succulents from the staffroom - bring on the sunshine! 💙🌦️💛

We have a natural teacher in our midst! This year 2 pupil wrote and delivered an outstanding presentation on 'Hajj - the Islamic Pilgrimage to Mecca', to the whole of Year 6! She even took questions at the end. What a superstar! 💛🌟💙

Great fun making croissants at the bakery this morning… and they made a great snack for our journey home! 💙🥐🥐🥐💛

As part of World Book Day 5R created an adaptation of the famous story, 'How Anansi Got His Stories,' and created their own books. They've really enjoyed reading and sharing them with Year 2 this morning 💙💛
