The role of the Vascular Podiatrist and podiatry-led lower limb arterial assessment services will be discussed by Michelle Miskell at the EDFN National Conference on April 26.

👍 … especially if foot pulses are not palpable, pain in the forefoot & toes is constant & severe, for more than 2 weeks. Helps to differentiate from dependent venous rubor (no limb threat).

David G. Armstrong This is a really important question. The skills and technologies we have in the MDT mean we can salvage more but what about those times the patient may be better off without the limb and could be more functional without it. Hard conversation but necessary sometimes.
