Victory! More than 200 petrochemical plants in the US will now be required to curb toxic pollutants.

In January, Antonia Juhasz documented how pollution from fossil fuel + petrochemical plants in Louisiana’s “Cancer Alley” created a human health crisis.

The Ugandan Constitutional Court (2d highest court) upholds a sweeping anti-gay law that provides for harsh punishments for engaging in same-sex sex.

In upholding, the court approvingly cited SCOTUS's decision in Dobbs as 'a recent development[] in human rights jurisprudence.'

Today an amicus brief was filed in the US Supreme Court in Grants Pass v Johnson by me and the SR on Extreme Poverty Olivier De Schutter. Punishing homelessness constitutes cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment, and a gross denial of right to adequate housing. A double punishment.
