ProfMKay 🇮🇳 TIGER If I understand, SC has issued a notice to the ECI based on the PIL & has not directed the ECI to mandate #NOTA but look into it as per the PIL through the notice. Now it is for the ECI to look through & bring in #ElectoralReforms so that #NOTA is empowered with due importance!

Only a fraction seem aware of #NOTA , exercising it as a protest. If max votes are polled for NOTA, it can nullify the election result to force fresh elections, & also restrict the candidates who have participated in the invalidated election from contesting the fresh polls.

ProfMKay 🇮🇳 It is indeed complex and insane. Laws on divorce, maintenance, post-divorce custody of children etc. need a thorough overhaul to remove unjust and absurd provisions.

ProfMKay 🇮🇳 The difference is that almost all of India's enemies are already on the inside. So an 'iron dome'-like air defence system would be useless.

Thanks to Rafael’s Iron Dome; Israel is all in one piece, intercepting short-range rockets, drones & artillery. More than an iron dome, India immediately needs a ‘vocal dome’ to intercept the verbal diarrhoea of shallow, selfish, uncouth politicians, especially during elections.

In the case of accidents, never understood the reason for Indians going into senseless anger & uncontrollable rage; it's a question of documenting and reporting to the insurance company/police, isn't it? Stupids somehow find ways to entertain bystanders, blocking traffic.

In this week, three small groups of people visited my place; DMK, AIADMK and BJP. If not for those flagstaffs and printed handouts, they could have been mistaken for those emaciated Ethiopians. Yet to recover from the shock of having seen the living dead.

ProfMKay 🇮🇳 It's a misconception that BRA was the architect of the Indian Constitution!
There were more well read people than BRA like K M Munshi, Alladi Krishnaswamy Iyer, N Gopalaswamy Iyengar, Mohd Sadullah, Deviprasad Khaitan and B L Mitter! BRA was only heading the committee!

Are we forever stuck with the cut-paste constitution or are there any hopes of redoing it using an Indian think tank? The reality of having a customised Indian constitution appears like a dream floating somewhere way beyond Earendel.

Whoever the great architect of the Indian constitution has generously borrowed from at least 60 constitutions of those times, we only wish they also borrowed from the remaining 135 nations to make it whole, to achieve Universal Oneness.

ProfMKay 🇮🇳 Constitution needn't be abolished,but amended it can be,has been & must be as &when found necessary by ppl's elected representatives.There's an overwhelming &overdue need for an amendment to remove d 2 words u've mentioned (besides a few other provisions),which are causing havoc.

It's our fate to suffer with the plagiarised potpourri with no fragrance left, but is there no Man left there to remove the words ‘socialist secular’ in the preamble, which were surreptitiously included?
