That study has been widely debunked. Crude oil is pretty toxic, carbon emission from battery mining is tiny compared to fossil fuel exploration, drilling, shipping, refining, transportation and burning. Batteries are lasting 150,000 miles + and can be 95% recycled. Look it up.
