It was a pleasure to welcome Air Commodore Portlock, 2 Group Commander Airbases, to RAF Shawbury this week. The Air Commodore, who is responsible for commanding and directing the airbase element of RAF Stations, enjoyed face-to face discussions with a variety of our personnel.

Today all helicopter crew training is conducted by No. 1 Flying Training School.
