The crew have were out training today and yesterday onboard our all weather lifeboat Anna Livia getting familiar with some new towing equipment.

Our volunteer crew is not long back at the station after assisting six people to safety in our inshore lifeboat. The alarm was raised after the group got stranded on a sandbank by the incoming tide while walking on Sandymount strand. 📸 Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard

Some of the stations volunteer crew onboard our inshore lifeboat after carrying out a training exercise yesterday evening.

The crew ended up helping out a small RIB that had engine issues at the mouth of Dun Laoghaire Harbour.
