Had a blast teaching in a 9th grade Career and Financial Mgmt class this morning with Ms. Kadar! Students worked together on their SWOT analysis, choosing a career on passion versus practicality, and we had a class wide discussion about top skills employers look for! During their study of The Odyssey, English 9 students researched an assigned God or Goddess, culminating with creating pins with their God/Goddesses name and a slogan they would stand by! The “pin maker” is a wonderful tool that students can use in our library! Rockville Centre School District

The week leading up to the April break was Sources of Strength week in the SSMS Library. Our Peer and Adult leaders were able to educate each and every student at SSMS about ways we can all deal with big emotions. We played games, we made friendship bracelets, and we had fun!
