It looks like so many people have left twitter and I get it, I tried to leave too, but Threads opens you up to a shitstorm of replies from people who don’t follow you, don’t know who the hell they’re replying to, as if they are in the comments section of the Guardian.

Right, hello! I am back from my holiday over at Instagram Threads because it quickly became even more of a cesspit than twitter…
At least now I’m tweeting (or X’ing) only to my followers! How fast the trolls took over there! Plus I missed my beer following over there!

Okay this is it from me. I’ve moved to Instagram threads because my @ notifications are full of other stuff that isn’t actually tweets directed @ to me and that’s just too much to keep up with and annoying.
I might be back if twitter ever gets fixed but until then, goodbye.
