HB 2104, introduced by Rep. Maureen Madden, just passed the House and heads to the Senate for further consideration! This bill protects employees from workplace discrimination by requiring employers to adopt policies and procedures to prevent discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

The committee held a meeting yesterday and PA House Democrats favorably reported bills that strengthen PA's Equal Pay Law and expand protections against workplace discrimination. The bills were introduced by Rep. Donna Bullock, Rep. Jennifer O'Mara, Rep. Melissa Shusterman, Rep. Maureen Madden, and Rep. Gregory Scott.

We should no longer restrict access to life-saving medications used to treat substance use disorder. My bill, HB 1515, would expand access in county jails. The bill passed in the House by a vote of 199-4, and I urge the Senate to pass the bill as well.
