I know this is happening all over the country, both before Dobbs and even more so, after.

As much as I focus on the abortion cases due to the work I do, I’m horrified that the Grants Pass case is even a question. Criminalizing homelessness is antithetical to the repro justice values that should guide our work.

Politicians hellbent on banning abortion are OK letting pregnant ER patients suffer, or even die, from severe medical complications. This shouldn’t be our reality. #BansOff

We need to find a better way to talk pregnancy-related mortality. Black cis women and other pregnancy-capable people are walking around in fear that they'll die in labor (see /2). These tragic deaths have catastrophic effects but are thankfully very rare. We also mislead 1/

Anti-abortion legislation and anti-trans legislation are inextricably linked. Abortion advocacy must include trans advocacy.

None of this is normal, by the way. People from the South (or anywhere else) shouldn’t have to travel to get abortions. They shouldn’t have to find back doors to abortion pills. Abortion should be available in all of our communities. We can’t get cede this ground.
