Last Thursday a group of fourth-year Agriculture/ Summer crops program students from CSU had a MIA rice tour organized by the extension team.

Great to see new and young people interested in rice and looking forward to seeing them in the paddocks in the next few years.

In the decision-making process for focus sites, the reference group (site owner, local growers, RE team members, & industry advisors) plays a pivotal role by challenging existing practices and promoting innovative thinking for implementation within the local rice growing area.

Our CIA Focus Site reference group meeting this week, discussing learnings from each other and using the opportunity to plan our next face-to-face event, RiceTalks: Expanding your options.
