Today new rules to limit short-term rentals come into effect to deliver more homes for people who need them. Local governments have indicated there are thousands of illegal listings they will ask to be removed, which will mean thousands of homes returning to the long-term market.

Both BCU and BC Cons just voted against this moving to committee stage.

Today, we announced a one-time benefit of $430 to the Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters (SAFER) program, including:

✅ Increased monthly supplement, an average of $110 more a month

✅ Increased eligibility to serve 25,000 of our most vulnerable seniors
