Huge thanks to everyone at the WeeMacArran Book Festival for a wonderful event in glorious, sunny Arran this afternoon. What a setting, what wonderful festival organisers, and what a brilliant crowd! Hoping this is the first of many Wee Mac Festivals. It’s a gem.
Three of our team are now reading or have read this and it's a real treat! So much to love, an amazing fantasy full of magic and bravery. I'll admit there were a few moments of tears too! Just wonderful. Ross MacKenzie
Ross MacKenzie's The Colour of Hope is an outstanding book. Ideal for Y5+ and it would be an immense class text. I'd love to see art projects based on this!
We love The Nowhere Emporium so much Ross MacKenzie, it's inspired one of our bookish challenges at @TribeCarlisle! 📚
We ask kids to invent a machine to take them anywhere in the world. It'll need some serious horsepower right?! Inventor Leah chose to travel via a magical door! 🚪
