This evening at Belfast City Council every political party apart from the DUP supported my motion calling on stronger fines for repeated agricultural pollution that are poisoning our waterways to be reinstated.

The same man let us down at Knock Iveagh. For all the talk of Irish 'culture', I'm not convinced O'Dowd knows what it means.
In 2022, John O' Dowd sanctioned the felling of healthy mature oak trees at Greenbank Industrial Estate in Newry.
He then evaded Justin McNultyâs questions about this decision in the NI Assembly.
Now OâDowd is back in office, itâs time for him to give some much needed answers.
This is what Ireland's 'just' transition looks like: enclosed networks of private wind/solar energy + data centres on former bogs. Not good for workers, people or the environment.
