The 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index shows a significant improvement in the score for Zambia- from 33 to 37. This is key and all stakeholders should work together to urgently address the many areas of concern in combating past and present corruption allegations

Good effective leaders are needed more than ever before in our communities, and nations. Weak leadership is now a common challenge in governments, political parties, NGOs, churches, academia etc. We urgently need to address this leadership crisis for our sake and posterity

There is sadly, a dearth of ethical political and public leaders, ones driven by a singular task of honestly serving their people. Instead, there is a rise in self centered leaders, who use their privileged positions in power, scheming and cutting deals to enrich themselves.

It’s a wrap, honoured to have served as Vice Chair of TI for the period 2017-2023 under the able leadership of our excellent Chair Delia Ferreira. We’ve left the organisation in the hands of two brilliant successors in Francois Valerian and Ketakandriana Rafitoson. Thank you Transparency International.
