Really enjoyed my first lab demonstrating today, where Dr Kirsten Thompson Kirsten Thompson introduced students to checking on (bird) diversity changes using Excel methods, then by installing and using R/RStudio. Very impressed with how they got on! Exeter Biosciences
Positive signs from the 'Stage 0' project at Holnicote, which reconnected the River Aller to its floodplain.
A deluge of rain fell on Exmoor recently, but the new waterscape held water as planned, helping to prevent flooding and expanding the new habitat.
