With this certification, our runners will use their time in the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon to qualify for all manner of elite races including the Olympics. This opens up the country to thousands of recreational runners & boosts tourism. We have to thank Amos Wekesa & his team for this. 👏🏾

The Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon is set for its 3rd edition & it’s safe to say the sky is the limit. They’re holding a press conference to celebrate international certification of the marathon; a HUGE deal in running circles. That they managed to clinch this so fast is laudable.
