'The state is no longer sure who lives in Britain, is unable to remove those with no right to be here, and seems to lack any realistic plan for bringing the situation under control.'

Eye-opening account by Sam Ashworth-Hayes of a day in the asylum courts.

A depressing summary of our asylum and migration system.

NEW: Ever wondered why dangerous men like Emad al Swealmeen or Abdul Ezedi were still in Britain and free to offend? I talked to the people who run our borders and spent a day in court to see first hand just how broken the system is.

Superb piece from Sam Ashworth-Hayes.

There's a fun piece for someone to write arguing ticket touts improve allocation by making sure seats go to those who value them most and that if venues don't like it, they should raise their prices.

It would have the benefit of being both correct and extremely obnoxious

If the population had the same age structure as in 1953, govt could have spent about 9% less than it did in 2021 & still delivered the same services

Me in the Telegraph on demographics and public spending & why we'll need massive public service reform.
