Carbon dioxide would need to be the dominant gas in earth's atmosphere to change climate. Instead it's a rare trace gas that is 410ppm or .04% of air. It could easily be 2,000ppm or 3,000ppm with no negative effects at all, other than give a tremendous boost to plant life.

Arguably big miners holding a big BTC stack might liquidate a bunch to hedge their bets in the short term, which would contribute to a temporary price correction.
