Of the 7,164 languages used around the world, approximately 3,511 have little to no Scripture.

We are eager for the day when all people enjoy equal access to Scripture and resources for spiritual growth - no matter what language they speak or sign.

This word comes from the #Agutaynen language, spoken by around 15,000 people on Agutaya Island and several surrounding islands.

Agutaynen is one of the 175 living indigenous languages of the Philippines. #DictionarySpotlight 📖

#Fact : Half of the women in South + West Asia and sub-Saharan Africa cannot read or write.

We want to help change that.

This #InternationalWomensDay , we celebrate the work being done across the globe to help open doors to education & ultimately greater flourishing for women!

According to recent data, approximately 800 women die every day from preventable causes related to #pregnancy & #childbirth — that's about 1 woman every 2 minutes.

Most of these deaths are entirely preventable. THIS is why literacy programs + resources in local languages matter.
