Year 7 parent’s evening starts at 4pm today on The Hill…

On Thursday, 2 May, we are hosting our Year 7 parent’s evening between 4pm and 6.30pm.

The evening will start with a talk on The Hill at 4pm, with the pastoral team sharing key messaging and information around progress, behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and support.

Today LJMU Outreach are joined by our fantastic Nursing team LJMU Nursing 👩‍⚕️for St John Bosco Arts College careers fair!

Pupils from our Debate Mate club participated in the Debate Mate Cup finals on Wednesday, 23 April. They took part in topical debates and competed against secondary schools from across Liverpool.

On Friday, 19 April, students within the Muslim community met to celebrate Eid. They were presented with Halal sweet cones and breakfast pastries 🕌

This week in Planet Protectors, students will create bird feeders and continue to plant seeds! Our sunflowers are starting to bloom, and our oak seeds are still growing their roots.

During Lent, 8B created their own business idea to raise money for charity: ‘Bracelets with Values’, a range of bracelets that link to our core values.

Students promoted the idea and even persuaded other year groups to buy a bracelet, raising a whopping £110!

How is it 10 years since we delivered the £18m @SJBliverpool as part of the Regeneration Liverpool joint venture with Liverpool City Council + Sigma Inpartnership? We're proud to say the secondary school was completed within a very challenging budget and went on to win a RIBA Award!

Our Year 13 criminology students recently visited Shrewsbury Prison to gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the prison system.

Students even got the chance to complete a cell escape activity and worked in teams under timed conditions!
