Eating the bulk of your carbs at night is a good strategy if you’re a very early morning gym guy. Glycogen stores will be full upon rising with no bloating and sluggishness. Can be hard to wolf down a lot of carbs at 5:00 and then immediately train.

1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass is generally a better goal than 1 gram per pound of body weight.

This is even more true if you are very heavy and/or high body fat %.

300 lb fatty never needs 300g of protein.
