No surprise that doctors are moving to greener pastures, after their pay has been continuously cut over 15 years.

If you want a well staffed NHS, then you must pay staff fairly. Pay restoration and retention of doctors is key if the NHS wants to survive in the years to come.

Shameful. With doctors being 2-4.5x more likely to die by suicide, this service has been a literal lifeline for many in the profession.

NHS England and Department of Health and Social Care must fulfil its commitment to support the mental health and wellbeing of its workforce.

Due to the farcical new PIA system which allocates jobs for new Doctors, there remain around 1,000 medical students who can't yet plan their first jobs & lives. Many wont hear where they are placed until July, just days before they start new posts. ☹️

The consultation is open to members of the public, and we've produced a short guide to be used by clinicians and patients who are keen to provide views.

There can be no discussion about the future of the medical workforce without The BMA, which represents a record >180,000 doctors across the UK. Exclusion of the most representative organisation for doctors can only be interpreted in a particular way.

When doctors are already feeling undervalued and underappreciated with massive real-terms pay cuts, Royal Surrey County Hospital has decided to further slash bank staff wages by up to 27%.

We urge the Trust to rethink this decision and start valuing their essential staff.
