Sleuthing Christmas Days' past for 'Weather Detectives' on ABC Melbourne on Monday night. Seems Mildura's Postmaster regularly took a few cheeky days off for the hols 1910 to 1938. Graph shows how many obs were taken for these days of the year, with a big dip 24-26 December!

Thanks Andrew Gunn, Lawrence Bird & Cari Rand for your stellar work! Monash University Monash Earth, Atmosphere and Environment ππͺοΈπ
Cranking into high gear, measuring discharge at Donnelly's Creek near Healesville with the EAE3331 class. Chilly water doesn't deter this lot! Excited to get out there! Monash Earth, Atmosphere and Environment ππͺοΈπ Monash University
