Since the promise to end Section 21, no fault evictions according to Generation Rent has reached almost 90,000, with 466 in Salford between April and Nov 2023. Govt must stop delaying and give renters the security they deserve.

[1/2] This morning I went to Laburnum Court to attend a workersโ rally organised by Salford City UNISON along with local Councillors, Maria, Jim, Jack Youd and the SalfordMayor. It is absolutely appalling how care workers have been treated by their employer, Belz Care Ltd.
This weekend Salford Labour Councillors, activists, MPs & City Mayor have been busy speaking to Ordsall residents, litterpicking in Pendlebury & Peel Green, opening a chess club, giving food parcels to refugees, introducing LGA Labour to Salford, & supporting campaigns in Bolton
Such sad news, Sir Tony Lloyd MP was a great man, a person & politician of great integrity, someone who often did the right thing quietly, without fear or favour, a great friend of Salford & its peoples. My thoughts & prayers are with Tonyโs family & friends at this time, RIP๐๐ปโค๏ธ
