[1/2] This morning I went to Laburnum Court to attend a workers’ rally organised by Salford City UNISON along with local Councillors, Maria, Jim, Jack Youd and the SalfordMayor. It is absolutely appalling how care workers have been treated by their employer, Belz Care Ltd.

As the three MPs representing the city of Salford, we are calling for the Govt to maintain and increase the Household Support Fund as a crucial lifeline for those facing a crisis.

This weekend Salford Labour Councillors, activists, MPs & City Mayor have been busy speaking to Ordsall residents, litterpicking in Pendlebury & Peel Green, opening a chess club, giving food parcels to refugees, introducing LGA Labour to Salford, & supporting campaigns in Bolton

Such sad news, Sir Tony Lloyd MP was a great man, a person & politician of great integrity, someone who often did the right thing quietly, without fear or favour, a great friend of Salford & its peoples. My thoughts & prayers are with Tony’s family & friends at this time, RIP🙏🏻❤️
