Herts Conservative County Councillors voted down a Lib Dem proposal to ensure that Free School meal vouchers in the summer holidays cover the full cost of meals.

Dr Ben Calvert has been announced as the new Vice-Chancellor of USW.

Ben, who is currently USW’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor, will take over the role from Professor Julie Lydon who retires later this year.
