What a lovely diplomatic result for #NCFC . All-but secures play-off qualification for them, and they don't have to celebrate an Ipswich win. Feels a bit like that day in 2019 when everyone was gutted with a draw at Stoke before Brentford beat Leeds.

Feels like everything’s just hanging on tonight now, with that context obviously deciding the meaning of that result. Either way there was an opportunity for #NCFC there, and they just didn’t turn up for that second half.

That went better as time went on, really. #NCFC now looking the better side and they're up to fifth. A brief bit of panic, but it's all going to plan now. Still plenty of time left though...

Yesterday’s result for Leeds makes finishing fifth feel just a little bit more important for #NCFC now. Daniel Farke’s side looking likely to finish third, and the psychology of facing a team that’s beaten you twice wouldn’t feel great.

Not a great half from #NCFC , especially by their high Carrow Road standards in recent weeks. Bristol City look very well organised and have had the best of this. Improvement needed in the second half.

Very, very well deserved. Was lovely when I first spoke to him before all of this kicked off. His family were clearly so proud of him when I met them a couple of months later and rightly so. Top, top man. Delighted for him.
