178 organizations came together through efficient logistics coordination. From #Jerusalem , #Cairo , #AlArish , #Amman , #Gaza , teams ensure a seamless aid pipeline to affected populations.

For the first time in weeks, World Food Programme was able to deliver crucial food assistance to thousands of people facing catastrophic hunger in the center of #Gaza city.

Safe and sustained access is essential to ensure continuous food aid reaches those in need.

This WFP-supported bakery in #Gaza is back up and running after over 50 days of being shut down.

WFP is providing wheat flour, salt, sugar and yeast so bakeries can start making bread again, increasing accessibility and affordability for thousands of displaced families.

Some bakeries in #Gaza are now bouncing back, after being closed for over a month.

World Food Programme provided them with wheatflour & other resources so they can start making bread for people in communities again.

As needs soar and displacement continues in #Gaza , World Food Programme continues to work with partners and communities to deliver as much food as possible as fast as possible.

In the past week only, we reached around 140,000 people with food parcels & will hopefully reach more as aid comes in.

2023 was perhaps one of the most challenging years.

It tested all of us, our humanity, in so many ways.

But it also showed us the power of collective resilience, strength, and hope.

I hope the #newyear 2024 brings peace and prosperity.

I hope it makes Bisan's wish come true.

Today, a wedding hall in #Rafah became a World Food Programme food distirbution point.

Community leaders collected food parcels to bring back to the make-shift camps.

#GAZA : The entire population of 2.2 million people are in crisis or worse levels of food insecurity.

World Food Programme has been mobilizing & delivering food for families every day, but the assistance allowed into Gaza is nowhere near enough.

In #Rafah , people are setting up tents wherever they can, after being displaced with nowhere to go and nothing to eat.

World Food Programme & partners are distributing food parcels to people residing in these make-shift camps - but it's not enough for everyone. Millions in #Gaza are hungry.

Despite being resilient, Gaza's markets are now in collapse.

As #Gaza faces a risk of famine, World Food Programme expands food assistance through shops - giving people easier access to food & supporting shops until they can get back on their feet.

#Gaza gives us hope. Now we give hope back.
