Once the US and EU close the shutters more, it will surely not take long for the UK to follow suit by raising its 10% tariff on Chinese EVs.

The Biden administration is poised to unveil a sweeping decision on China tariffs soon.

The new tariffs will focus on electric vehicles, batteries, solar cells, with existing levies largely maintained.

The US is pushing EU countries to adopt its strict approach to export controls. The EU needs to protect its economic strengths & insist the US take a more multilateral and co-operative approach, such as a ‘chips club’.
