An unbelievable day of hurling today in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale as the Mackey cup was on. In Semi-Final 1 the South got the better of the City. In Semi-Final 2 the West beat the East. The Final was a closely fought contest with the South winning by a single point.

FAI Soccer Mini 5’s ⚽️

Today, we had five teams competing in the FAI Schools #Primary5s Soccer Competition in Corbally.

We had a fantastic day and some great matches were played.

Well done to our five teams and we are looking forward to returning for the Group Finals!

Over the last number of weeks, Sixth Class have been taking part in Junior Entrepreneur.

Pupils presented their business ideas in our very own “Dragon’s Den.”

It was a tough decision but the the business “The Cookie Jar” was the ultimate winner.

Well done Moya, Caoimhe, Sara and Cian!

Well done to the boys who played in the Mini 7’s Hurling Finals today in Glenroe.

We had great games against Bruff NS, Bruree NS & Kilmallock NS.

6th Class had an enjoyable lesson last week relating to historical artefacts.

Each pupil brought in a historical artefact from home and we created a Classroom Museum.

We had really interesting artefacts such as a WW1 soldier’s helmet, a tank shell, a barometer and old coins!

This was a really interesting project to be involved in, and there is more to come! Let's have the conversations about ethics and the use of technology.
