For over a decade, Republicans have failed to make the meaningful, necessary investments to ensure that the Universities of Wisconsin remains a strong economic engine and a critical part of our state's future success.

“In 2023-25, the system requested about $293 million in state general purpose revenue, and Republicans approved about $41.4 million. That’s a difference of about $252 million, the analysis shows.”

The GOP has failed our students and our campuses.

Absolutely outrageous.

Republicans are holding up MILLIONS of dollars that would help Wisconsinites including:
❌$36 Million to address the opioid crisis
❌$125 Million to fight PFAS across Wisconsin
❌$15 Million to support healthcare in Western WI

Despite the lack of leadership from my Republican counterparts, my democratic colleagues & I will continue to work for the people of Wisconsin.
