If you're free this coming Wednesday the 17th, Anne Jusseaume, will be discussing the female vocation in nineteenth-century Paris, drawing on her recent book 'Le soin des pauvres Vocations féminines dans le Paris du XIXe siècle' by Presses universitaires de Rennes.

Thanks to Dr. Kathleen Sprows Cummings for a great paper on female religious and 'questing' today. Lots of good research questions raised, not least the importance of exploring vocations from a non-statistical perspective.
