The Northern Roots community garden is almost ready!

Thanks to funding from Greater Manchester Environment Fund, we’re turning a muddy meadow into a beautiful, welcoming space where people can foster connection to nature & each other.

University of Salford is partnering with Northern Roots to research how collaborative design, which puts residents at the very centre of the design process, can create meaningful urban food systems in #Oldham .

Food systems can include raised beds in underused spaces, such as car parks🌱
