The Douglas County Clerk’s Office is responsible for paying all of the county’s bills and employees as well as maintaining current records of real estate property. That’s where Chief Deputy County Clerk Marni Penrod plays an important role.

TOMORROW at 7 join us to help elect Shannon4Commissioner and @ShannonforDGCO for Douglas County!

Our office has now logged 13,600 ballots out of 30,614 sent, that is a 44% return rate and the ballots were first mailed one week from today! In-person advance has had 3,585 voters, so we currently have 17,485 votes cast (21% turnout) with just one week of voting completed.

On Friday, we sent over 300 overseas and military ballots and have already received some back. We are thankful for federal and state laws which allow us to serve our military/overseas citizens and make sure their ballots are returned regardless of where they are in the world.

The upcoming election is generating lots of questions and disinformation being shared, so we will be posting regularly some of the questions we are hearing with answers. douglascountyelections.com has a question portal on the right side, you can submit a question for us to answer.
