I have been giving exactly the same advice to students about statistical analysis. Just stare at the data for a long time before you start analyzing. Ask questions like: is this data making sense, are some values conspicuous by presence/absence and so on.

1. My top imaging trick to trainees is that before they spend any time taking pictures of the data they just sit there for a while & look at the stuff. Like seriously, sit back, crank some tunes, get cozy & spend some quality time with your slides.

Week 7: The most awaited neuroanatomy courses began! Learnt so much about invertebrate and vertebrate neuroanatomy instructed by Achira Roy and sheeba vasu. We got to dissect drosophila larval and adult brains. Also observed earthworm dissection. It was a hectic, yet fun week.
