Bolden Reunion! Bolden Area Command is named after Larry Bolden, the first Black Deputy Chief with @lvmpd. Today nearly every former Bolden Captain gathered to break bread and share some laughs with Chief Bolden’s daughter, Carol. There’s a lot of history here.

Thank you danawhite and UFC for partnering with @lvmpd for a multi-year youth mentoring program for kids ages 12-17. I stopped by Fight Capital to check out the program and meet some of these great kids.

Make no mistake. Enzo prevented an officer involved shooting. Well done, buddy. I’m glad you’re home safe.

Check out this video taken earlier today. He stopped by the LVMPD K9 Facility with his handler. Enzo will continue to recover for the next several weeks and will remain off the job.

The Metro family is growing. I am overjoyed to meet my third grandchild (my first granddaughter). Little Madi is a blessing to our family. Both of her parents serve our community with LVMPD.

Kudos to LVMPD Officers Marcolini, Manzanedo, and Silva on their quick actions that saved a woman from a fire. Having visited this fine department in February and meeting with Sheriff Kevin McMahill, I saw firsthand the outstanding dedication.🫡

Celebrating Nevada Reading Week with my grandkids. My Executive team and LVMPD officers are all over our city this week talking to kids about the importance of reading! 📚

The Engelstad Foundation and Touro Nevada provide training and equipment for our officers who protect our community and save lives.
This morning, Kevin McMahill held a news conference about this partnership and described how it saved the life of the UNLV #ActiveShooter victim.

Excited to see this new addition in the Bolden area. I spent years of my career working in the Historic Westside so this project is near and dear to my heart.

Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee Super Bowl

We’ve been working on the Super Bowl since the moment Las Vegas was announced as the host city. Thousands of first responders are working collaboratively to make this a great, safe event. 🏈

The Las Vegas Raiders stopped by headquarters today to thank our staff for their hard work prepping for the Super Bowl. We are ready for a great weekend! Thanks to President Sandra Douglass Morgan, Linebacker Divine Deablo and defensive Tackle Matthew Butler for backing the blue.
