Patrick Skinner This would make Henry happy---Bandit was like a kid in a candy store today playing with toys. Bandit was lucky he wandered into Henry's yard--his heart was always able to take in one more!!

This made us cry. Pics from 2020 when Theresa took Henry to the animal rescue where they adopted Lucy. Henry had lost Lucy 1 months earlier and was so sad. So Lucy 2 stepped up and loved him madly. And now we have to step up. Because we all matter or none of us do.

A view never seen before. Standing where the giant stump of the giant oak was. Looking back west to the house. Pics make it seem MUCH bigger than it is (it’s like 60 feet to the house) but it’s still a universe for us. So much to do. So much to be thankful for.

So the D3 panels are up (dog drama deterrent) and I’ll stain them proper in a few days. They’ll blend in nicely and maybe even look nice. We shall see.

Lucy loves the yard. She’s a chubby reminder that being a good neighbor doesn’t end with the death of a neighbor.

Wow. Much needed rain (not enough but I’m thankful for every drop) passed through and the temp dropped from 74 to 60 in an hour. I went out to warn my pepper plants that it’s getting to 57 tonight.

Sweet Potato Pie Pup and the LARGE dog next door have been engaged in a fence battle for a year or more. Lots of snarls and pawing at the fence, so much so they’ve busted some slats. So I’m stopping them from seeing each other. Few more panels and a lot more stain. Yay for peace

Theresa needs some extra beauty, as she cleans Henry’s house & gets his affairs in order. I never need an excuse to buy more flowers/plants. But now I had the best of reasons. These dianthus made her smile.
