There are, in the end, only two kinds of people. Those who believe in freedom and dignity for ALL. And those who do not. I know where I stand, and who my friends are.

This is predictable but also unbelievably irresponsible. As Lord Ken Clarke said to me, if we give up on the law and the international rules-based order we should be under no illusions about how dangerous our world will become.

Genocidal rhetoric/intent, and systematic war crimes. Both Hamas and Israeli govt leadership belong behind bars; arrest them.

Let us hope our politicians demonstrate the same integrity as the International Criminal Court.

SEDIN IVAZOVIĆ was killed on 20 May 1993. He was shot in the head by a #Serb sniper while he was playing with his friends. During the Siege of Sarajevo five to fifteen people on a daily average were injured by sniper shots.

Sedin was 17 years old.

JASMINA PRGUDA was killed on 20 May 1992. She was in front of her building when she was targeted by the Serbs. Mortar bomb exploded 50 meters away from her. Shrapnels hit her in the heart and she died on the spot.

Jasmina was 6 years old.
