Erin Somers β€ this... I always ask my students to assign me homework over the long breaks. The kids pull together a list of books and vote on what I have to read over the break. I am required to give them a book review when we return.

Erin Somers My 3rd grader told her about a book she liked and teacher thanked her and stocked series (the Warrior Cats). Same teacher marked her wrong on a quiz and when my kid showed her answer, she thanked her for correction. Teachers and parents have such power when we say you are right.
