We were delighted to welcome delegates on the current NPQLT course to a face-to-face session at Union Street this week.
All were enjoying networking, engaging with the research and applying it to their contexts. The sun came to visit too! ☀️

St Saviour's and St Olave's School celebrated their birthday with a service of commemoration and thanksgiving at Southwark Cathedral. With the theme 'We are not alone', they highlighted all their partner organisations including the SDBE. 'Fear not, for I am with you' Isaiah 4:10.

St Mark's Secondary Academy in Mitcham commissioned Andy Gray as their new Chaplain today. Bishop Martin shared Pope Francis' words for Lent, 'Fast from hurting words & say kind words, fast from pessimism & be filled with hope, fast from bitterness and fill your heart with joy.'

Our recent Governors’ Day was an opportunity for governors to participate in lessons such as phonics, violins and cellos. As well as view pupils’ books, join in Collective Worship, and eat with pupils at the Top Table at lunch time and speak to pupils.
