We’re making social media graphics!

During PSHE, Reception began to understand the impact of using unkind words. We sorted Jenie’s unkind statements into the bin and positive statements into the special box. Like the shaving foam, once unkind words are out they cannot go back in - we need to think before we speak.

We heard Galatians 5: 22-23 and talked about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We role played how these gifts may be seen around school.

Next week, we are going to go on a Holy Spirit hunt around school.

What a pleasure it was today to share our science lesson with our parents and grandparents! We learnt about the magnetic field, we sorted materials into magnetic and non-magnetic groups and we carried out an investigation to see which magnet was the strongest. As today is the Feast of the Ascension, this afternoon we held a class collective worship to mark, celebrate and remember Jesus on this important day. 🙏🏻

We invited our families to ‘Stay and Learn’ today with a focus on phonics. We enjoyed showing our families what we do in our phonic lessons. We then had lots of fun playing phonic games with our families.
