The first day of Gogo's 'Tour of Stockport!' Today, myself and Gogo visited the fantastic reception class at St Simon's School in Hazel Grove where we visited the funfair! We built our own rollercoaster and played at the coconut shy! Stockport SHAPES Alliance

Choir have been spreading more Christmas cheer this afternoon. They went to a local care home and sang with so much enthusiasm - the residents asked for an encore! We could not have been prouder of the children. What a lovely afternoon!

The St. Simon’s Choir had a lovely time singing carols at the St. Peter’s Church party this afternoon for members of our Parish. This was the choir’s first event of the year and they did a great job. #spreadingthechristmascheer

Today is Ascension Day, 40 days after Easter, when we celebrate Christ’s ascension to heaven at the end of his ministry on earth. We went to Holy Mass St Peter's Church this morning and year 3 led our Celebration of the Word with their parents this afternoon.

Reception and Nursery had an amazing time on their trip to Reddish Vale Farm. We got to handle some small animals and meet and feed some of the larger animals on the farm. The children represented St Simon’s fantastically and the sun shone. Reddish Vale Farm

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL St Peter's Church are holding their annual Christmas Tree Festival in Church. The trees are decorated by the groups in the parish and is a lovely occasion to celebrate
the many groups we have in the Parish and to also let people know what is available.
