St Elvan's a truly magnificent church, the heart of Tractarianism in south Wales in the late 19th cent. As well as the fine building, it does superb work, at the centre of its community, cafe, meeting rooms, events, exhibitions, under the great leadership of Fr Robert Davies SSC.

One of our #conservation officers visited the #warmemorial at St Elvan's, #Aberdare . Unveiled 4th August 21921. Gifted by Mrs Tremellen, it bears 222 names who died in #WWI with two additional side panels added to remember those from #WWI I.
