Road networks are key in determining physical accessibility. In collaboration with KIRDARC Nepal Start Fund Nepal, the #APHub aims to enhance disaster preparedness & response strategies. Map missing roads in the Mugu district to help identify hard to reach areas.

🚨Amidst increasing needs, an additional funding of £555K has been awarded through Start Fund Nepal (N-19 Response II - Jajarkot EQ) to three consortia:
a) HI, PIN, and KIRDARC - £155K
b) CARE, NSET, and HRDC - £200K and
c) WVI, NTAG, and PTYSM - £200K

⌛️Today, Start Fund Nepal awarded £170,908 to the Mercy Corps and RRN and £25, 000 to SOSEC and Islamic Relief Consortia to respond to the Jajarkot earthquake. Their response will focus on shelters🛖, winterization❄️, and WASH🧼 helping over 8000 people directly.

START FUND NEPAL N-17 Nepal (Response and Anticipation - Flooding and Inundation in 4 provinces, 147k GBP) - Awarded to PIN Nepal along with Aasaman Nepal & CSRC Consortium AND Plan International Nepal and Banke Unesco Club Consortium.

CRS, NSET, Volunteer Corps Nepal & NHSRP collaborate through 'REACT' project aims to address the urgent needs of a at-risk communities in #Taplejung district. Our humanitarian efforts will assist 187 households in 'Maiwakhola Rural Municipality' & 'Sidingba Rural Municipality'.
