The Alliance Party has today said Northern Ireland is facing an unprecedented crisis, after it raised serious concerns over proposed budget allocations.

Today, I put it to the Defence Secretary that increased defence spending must be balanced with other investments including the restoration of the 0.7% of GNI target for international development.

Security comes from a range of approaches.

Politicians must not fuel false and divisive narratives, but rather lead and inform.

It is worth remembering that one of the pillars of their memorandum of understanding with the TUV is a common platform on immigration.

The question does arise: does Jim Allister share these sentiments?
